IP/MPLS-based Ethernet Services
MPLS is a multiprotocol because it works with the Internet Protocol (IP), Asynchronous Transport Mode (ATM), and frame relay network protocols. Moreover, MPLS supports a range of access technologies, including T1/E1, ATM, Frame Relay, and DSL. With reference to the standard model for a network, MPLS allows most packets to be forwarded at the Layer 2 level rather than at the Layer 3 level.
Fiber@Home provides IP/MPLS-based Ethernet services, allowing clients to leverage MPLS-based L2VPN and L3VPN services. These services are flexible, supporting various network topologies such as point-to-point (P2P), point-to-multipoint (P2M), and multipoint-to-multipoint (M2M). Fiber@Home allows clients to choose Nationwide lease line transmission services with capacities ranging from 1 Mbps to n*1/10/100/400 Gbps. Fiber@Home currently operates a 400GE network, with plans to upgrade to 800GE by 2025.
