Additional Requirements
- Basic understanding of the network backbone and topology.
- Basic understanding on IP networking technologies protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, VLAN, MPLS, QoS etc.) and services layer2, layer-3, MPLS VPNs etc.
- Good understanding of NMS (Nagios, Huawei etc.) and GPON technology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good team spirit, and adaptability.
Responsibilities & Context
- Assist in nationwide IP service planning, design, implementation, and optimization for Fiber@Home’s Layer-2, Layer- 3, MPLS, and GPON networks to ensure scalable and reliable network operations.
- Support IP network planning and connectivity solutions for 5G/4G/3G/2G mobile networks and small cell deployments for telecom operators across the country.
- Coordinate and provide IP connectivity support for enterprise, ANS operators, ISP, government, and other regular client services while ensuring quality and service reliability.
- Monitor nationwide IP network performance through NMS and related monitoring tools to ensure network availability, stability, and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with SOC, Field Team, IP O&M, SDPI, and other internal departments to ensure timely implementation, maintenance, and operational support of network services.
- Maintain network documentation, service records, technical reports, and operational updates related to planning, deployment, and performance monitoring activities.
- Participate in network expansion, migration, upgrade, and integration activities while ensuring compliance with operational standards and service requirements.
