Senior Executive/Assistant Manager- Business Development
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and support new business opportunities, especially within government and corporate sectors.
- Prepare and coordinate tender documents, EOIs, technical proposals, financial proposals, and related documentation.
- Maintain regular communication and liaison with ministries, government agencies, autonomous bodies, partners, and vendors.
- Monitor upcoming tenders, RFPs, and procurement notices relevant to company business areas.
- Follow up on proposals, invoices, approvals, payments, and project-related communications.
- Coordinate with technical, finance, legal, procurement, and operations teams for smooth project execution.
- Arrange meetings, presentations, client visits, and corporate communication activities.
- Assist in preparing business plans, reports, revenue forecasts, and management presentations.
- Maintain records of business opportunities, contracts, correspondence, and project progress updates.
- Support partnership development, strategic collaboration, and vendor management activities.
- Perform additional business development and strategic tasks assigned by management.
Educational Requirements
- B.Sc. in EEE/CSE from a reputed university.
Experience
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Tender Management, Corporate Sales, Government Liaison, or related fields.
- Experience in telecom, power, ICT, infrastructure, or technology-related industries will be preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Strong business communication, corporate correspondence, and presentation skills
- Experience in tender/RFP/EOI preparation, documentation, and proposal writing
- Knowledge of government procurement processes, including e-GP system, and related compliance
- Client relationship management, stakeholder coordination, and cross-functional team collaboration
- Leadership, team coordination, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capability under pressure
- Negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship management skills with professional integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with adaptability and proactive attitude
