Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE)
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE)
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
Experience
- 1 to 3 years
- Experience in field implementation and operations will be highly preferable
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Responsibilities & Context
Lead and support field teams in resolving link down issues and troubleshooting tickets through coordination with the operations center.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure employee engagement, workforce motivation, and quality of service delivery.
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for network expansion, infrastructure upgrades, and service optimization.
Perform advanced fiber optic network troubleshooting including OTDR and power tests, splicing, and loss budgeting (both underground and overhead networks).
Assist IP team in telco device soft checks, remote login support, ping testing, and IP/VLAN validation using F@H ONM or client platforms.
Execute telco device hard checks including device reboots, power checks, and replacement of power cords or adapters.
Handle structured cabling (UTP with RJ-45), coaxial termination, cross-connects via Krone puncher, and E1 cable management using Balun converters.
Manage client-side access for site visits, link issue resolution, and ensure operational team access by collecting required permissions, keys, or devices.
Communicate inconsistencies or anomalies (SCR-related) found during field operations to the Assurance & Planning team for updates in Sentral Software.
Maintain and submit daily operational reports including worksheets, material consumption logs, team attendance, and night/holiday bills.
Monitor and report on Network Quality KPIs such as Network Availability and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), with continuous improvement measures.
Ensure preventive maintenance of all active and passive network components to reduce fault rates and enhance service reliability.
Conduct site surveys for long telco infrastructures, optimize link quality by removing excess TJBs to reduce high loss and maintenance frequency.
Identify and report Single Points of Failure (SPoF) and chain sites; follow up for timely resolution.
Perform material adjustments in ONM software reflecting actual field usage and availability.
Address and resolve unforeseen local issues (e.g., disturbances or external obstacles), maintaining a healthy relationship with local communities.
Oversee administrative duties relevant to coordination offices including documentation, scheduling, and logistics.
Promote a culture of safety by supporting safety training and compliance measures for all field personnel.
